A brilliant rebuttle campaign for Greenpeace, whom are often portrayed by the media as being disruptive and a bit extreme in their attempts to thwart environmental wrongdoings -- with the results that public opinion fails to see that all these efforts are for the greater good. I guess this is a great kick in most of our collective non-greenpeace-effort-conscious asses (can I say "ass" on the internet? Haha.) Agency unknown - please post credits in the comments and I will add them. (Thanks, AdsOfTheWorld!)
Great idea, brings out this "interior smile". The art direction is a little blotchy to my taste, but hey - maybe I'm getting old. Creative team: Marcelo Przedzmirski and Rodolfo Amaral from agency CCZ Eletrica, Brazil. (Thanks, Twenty-Four!)
Pancrom is a digital studio in Brazil that deals with printing, color correction and retouching services. The copy reads: "Color faithfulness only at Pancrom". You couldn't possibly have more vivid art direction, and a more vivid message. Great concept, agency unknown. Credits please! (Thanks, TwentyFour!)
Interesting spoofing of the world-reknowned "sex positions" posters by Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York, letting us know that all this creative nookie yoga may lead to AIDS, and of course - death. The poster is currently distributed to the college crowd. Client: Youthaids. (Thanks, AdCritic!)
The copy reads: "Life revolves around the sun. Use Sundown."
Wait, wait, wait. Don't you think that imperative in advertising is something that's obsolete? "Use" our products. "Do" this. "Eat" that. This belongs to another generation. Motivative advertising has long been dead and buried. This generation would probably like to read "Sundown. Life revolves around the sun", or better yet the simpler "Life revolves around the sun".
But hey. Judging from position of said title addition, and slightly smaller size, I'm sure of this: THE CLIENT MADE THEM ADD IT. Shit happens.
This being said, great photography from PLATINUM, FMD - these guys are amazing.
If you guys don't know it yet, the most loved and awaited PS3 will hit the stores across North America on November 17. A teaser campaign has recently begun, titled "Play B3yond", which is currently hitting the NYC (corner LaFayettte and Bond).
Also, you can already feast your eyes on the recently released commercial for this upcoming launch, now available on AdKrispies. Featured soundtrack is An Ending (Ascent) by Brian Eno. The commercial is once again the work of crazy awesome agency McKinney + Silver. I bow in your general direction. Need kickass partners in Canada? Write me. Hehe. Shameless plug.
Ps3 coming. Better get those sleeping bags ready in front of your local electronics store now.
Maybe you can't see the picture well, so let me explain: The kid is able to be flying on an little RC plane, because the energizer batteries are so powerful. Simple, and effective. Agency unknown, sorry.
A great set of illustrations in these ads from KesselsKramer, Netherlands (which feel directly inspired from those Davy Crockett-type storybooks from the 60s), demonstrating how Bavaria beer is the perfect celebration of true manhood (roar ! grr.)
Great ad. Too bad there's the tiny little "Don't forget to buy it" under the logo. That sounds like a client joke. A client who's like your uncle. An uncle who repeats his ill-witted joke twice or three times, until you emit a faint, yellow laugh. And then he reminds you he's a client. And he says "no seriously, add it".
